98% of our timber is purchased from New World Timber, their Environmental Policy is:
 
"In order to demonstrate our commitment to maintaining New World Timber's position in the timber industry we are continualy updating our Environmental Policy to ensure all timber products are legally harvested from well managed forests, to demonstrate this we continue to support Forest Stewardship Council Standard (FSC) and the Programme of Endorsement of Forest Certification (PFC), wherever possible, suppliers offering products covered under these recognised schemes wll be given preference.

Customer demand for certifcated timber products will be met where ever possible and will be supplied to special order ifnot already available in stock.

Timber, if managed responsibly, remains the most environmentally friendly material and New World Timber will continually monitor and improve its environmental performance from the products held in stock, the packaging used and waste created.

In addition, the European Union Timber Regulation came into force in March 2013, the regulation (referred to as AUTR) seeks to counter the  trade in illegally harvested timber ad timber products it prohibits placing illegally harvested timber and products derived from such timber on the EU market, New World Timber actively supports this regulationa and provides its customers with the assurance that our products are able to meet both their legal, environmental and technical requirements."
